Coming at You from The Cove in 2013

January 25, 2013

We don’t know about you, but even though the New Year’s barely begun, it feels like our dance cards are already getting pretty filled up. Which is why we though we’d put together this handy-dandy Cove Calendar, to make sure you don’t miss out on any of the high-energy action going on down here over the next few months.

Friday, February 1: Pandora’s Box in Paradise
We’re opening the lid on a glamorous gala evening of food, fun, music, drinks and gaming—and it’s all for a good cause, too, with proceeds from the night benefiting the Paradise Children’s Foundation. The action starts at 7pm in the Atlantis Imperial Ballroom, and then at 8pm the madness of our fantasy casino really begins. There’ll be colors, tunes, high-stakes games, beauty and intrigue around every corner, with performances by a team of seductive burlesque performers, plus a raffle with utterly extravagant prizes. Click Here to book and for more information.

Sunday, February 3: Big Game Day Party
Where better to watch the Super Bowl than on the big screens and with the fellow fans gathered in the Atlantis Imperial Ballroom? Doors open at 5pm, a full hour before kick-off, giving you extra time to enjoy the open bar and stadium-style grub. Every entrance ticket gets you an entry into an office grid-style football pool whose first three winners will each get $500 in free slot play, with a final-score winner getting $1,000 in free slot play. There’ll also be game-day set-ups at the Coral Lounge and Dragons, plus a big tailgate-style bash at Virgil’s Real BBQ. Click Here for more information and to book.

Thursday, February 14: Valentine’s Day
The restaurants of The Cove and Atlantis are serving up romance in a big way this year.  Enjoy the four-course tasting menu at Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Café Martinique (rice-crusted tuna, local lobster Thermidor, beef tenderloin, cheese cake with strawberry sorbet).  And there’ll be more than enough Champagne and strawberries to go around anywhere you go, too, of course.

Saturday, February 16: Carly Rae Jepsen
This President’s Day weekend, Billboard’s “Rising Star of 2012” and the American Music Award’s “Best New Artist,” Carly Rae Jepsen, performs live at Atlantis. Fresh from her worldwide tour opening for Justin Bieber, Carly Rae will be performing her five-time-platinum smash single, “Call Me Maybe,” as well as other sensational hits from her breakout album, “Kiss.” Click here for tickets and more information.

Saturday, April 20: Alicia Keys
Having finished off the last stop of her just-announced 24-city “Set the World on Fire” tour only two days before, Alicia Keys is doing what any sane—and fun-loving—person would do to celebrate: She’s heading to Paradise Island for some R&R. Oh, except that she’ll also be working, at least a little bit anyway, playing an Atlantis concert for her legions of adoring fans. For one night only, she’ll take the stage at our Imperial Ballroom to perform hits from her latest album, Girl on Fire, as well as favorites from her four previous outings. Click Here to book now.
